First Snow and Updates

We have had the first snow of the season. Kaitlynn loved the snow and wanted her gloves and hat on while playing in the house. She had to go outside and "put her hand in the snow." I took her out to play in it and she swept it off of everything. Below are some pictures of her playing and with her snowman.

It has been a while, so I will give some updates. Kaitlynn started school in September. It is 3 days a week for 3 hours. She is in the transition class, which is before the pre-k class. She loves school and has actually been asking me all afternoon if we are going to school. She started back to tumbling also. She moved from the moms and tots class to the pre-gym class. We had a rough start with it since I could not go in with her anymore, but she loves it now. She is constantly doing her stretches while playing.

Francis has actually been home for almost 4 months and there are no plans for him to leave again, at least that we know of. He works weird hours and has different days off each week, but at least he is home.

I am still at home with Kaitlynn and soon to be Christianna (less than a month now). I have been helping out at Kaitlynn's school and have also started up with cakes again. I made some cakes for her fall carnival and now people have been asking me to make cakes for them. Francis was my first customer and had me make a Veterans Day cake for his office. I have a website now also. It is www.sweetsntreats-natalie.com.

Thats all for now. Hopefully I will be updating SOON about Christianna.

Much Needed Updates

Kaitlynn and I are in Dallas once again. This time Francis will be waiting for us when we get back. Hopefully this 4 month TDY will be his last for a while. He has been working long hours to make sure he can get home and stay for a while. He has only been home 6 weeks since November. Kaitlynn has grown up so much this time. She will be 2 next month, but I think the terrible twos have already started. She already tells me "I want it" when we pass through the aisles at the store. She thinks she is so big and does not want help with anything. Speaking of big, she will be a big sister in December, so we are also excited about that. I will add more updates later.

Videos

I finally figured out a way to share videos that works, so the video link works now. There is only one video up right now. I will add more later when I can get more organized. It is through snapfish, so you may have to create an account. If there are any problems, please let me know so I can try to fix it all. I will update again when I finish with the videos.

P.S. Francis should be home this week!!!

Back to Germany

Kaitlynn said hi. That is what the last blog was. She is starting to climb on chairs so she can get to the computer. Kaitlynn and I are back in Germany impatiently waiting for Francis to get home. We both seem to be over the jet lag already. Hopefully I will be writing again soon with good news.

Dallas

I am in Dallas right now and Francis is gone again. It was supposed to be for 9 days, but was extended 5 weeks. As a result, I chose to come home for a visit. Of course I was hoping to miss out on some of Germany's winter and I come during an ice storm. It is fun to see Mom get excited for the snow and ice though. Spending the holidays without my family made me homesick, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Kaitlynn was wonderful on the flights and has already adjusted to the time difference. She sure does love playing with her Uncle Nicky. She is growing so fast and learning new things everyday. I will try to get some pictures up ASAP.
